The mill was built around 1750 and, surprisingly, was still in operation in the late 1970's when it was converted into award-winning flats and penthouses. In 1983, the old grain store took on a new lease of life when it opened as a restaurant, subsequently becoming the Wensum Lodge Hotel. We offer complimentary fishing for our guests, by the river Wensum on our doorstep, the chef will cook anything you catch!
