Established for well over 200 years, our hotel takes its name from the 19th century English Romantic poet, Percy Bysshe Shelley, who honeymooned at the cottage (then known locally as Mrs. Hooper's Lodgings), with Harriet Westbrook. Shelley's is an award-winning hotel and a 'Hotel of the Year 04', and commands spectacular, breathtaking sea views across Lynmouth Bay. The hotel itself has been sympathetically refurbished to create a warm, friendly and welcoming ambience.
