Take a deep breath of pure, clean air, and look across the shimmering ocean... can you spot the Welsh coastline? This is Hoburne Blue Anchor, nestled in the heart of a beautiful bay, and probably one of Somerset's top holiday parks.
With modern, comfortable static caravans, plus touring pitches - the sea one side, and rolling green landscape of Exmoor on the other make it the perfect caravan park for all types of family holidays.
In Somerset there's so much to see and do: visit the West Somerset Steam Railway which runs alongside the Park, marvel at Dunster Castle - or sample the local parks, farms and falconry of nearby Minehead.
As for the Park itself, you'll love the tranquillity of no clubhouse, no bar - just pure, traditional family fun; play a round of crazy golf, go fishing off the sea wall, splash around in our indoor pool, or watch the kids monkey about in the adventure playground. Local Area
From gazing across the rocky bay, trying to make out the southernmost tip of Wales in the distance, you turn and notice the pink limestone crystals sparkling on the cliffs. This is beautiful Blue Anchor Bay, home to Somerset's Hoburne Blue Anchor.
Remember the rock pools you used to love playing in? There are plenty to explore here... indulge your inner child, or introduce your own children to the magical delights of discovering crabs and tiny fish. And watch the local fishermen on the sea wall too, casting their lines for a bite of codling or conger eel.
Behind the bay lie acres of green fields, where Somerset turns into Exmoor, and the region's wild ponies and deer roam freely. Taking a drive through Minehead along to Porlock, you'll admire the pretty villages and harbours. Or travel in a bit more style, on the West Somerset Steam Railway which runs alongside the Park. The whistle blows... the steam billows... and you're gliding back to another time as you puff along the sensational Somerset coastline. Then visit majestic Dunster Castle for romance aplenty, with its turrets, hilltop views and sub-tropical gardens.
Romance, nostalgia and a mesmerising landscape that will stay in your memory forever... Somerset is here to be discovered.
