Later try one or even two of the quaint pubs around and about in bowness. For an intimate evening in we have now built a cinema room to enjoy your very own viewing of films from TV or dvd on the big screen ( yes we even can provide the popcorn )

Somerset House BandB - Somerset House is in the town centre, 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. With free Wi-Fi, all rooms are en suite and there is a licensed bar and bistro open until 22:00 every day. Families with children of all ages are welcome. Somerset House is also suitable for pets. You can also bring your bike to Somerset House, which is on the W2W Route 20 cycle route. Somerset House is close to all the amenities of Grange-over-Sands. Strands Hotel - Strands Hotel/Inn was built in the eighteen hundreds. The building is nestling in the heart of Wasdale Valley, which has beautiful views of the surrounding fells. It is situated only a short walk from the Deepest Lake (Wastwater) in England, also the Highest Mountain (Scawfell) and the Smallest Church which is at Wasdale Head. Mark, Lesley and family have run this typical Lakeland Hotel since June 2006. Mark brews his own ales, our home cooked traditional food is very popular with visitors and locals.

Corner Beech House - An AA 4-star Bed and Breakfast, Corner Beech House is an elegant Edwardian building with striking sea views; perfect for exploring the Lake District. All of the comfortable en suite rooms have a widescreen TV and some of the rooms have stunning sea views of Morecambe Bay. There is a DVD library for guests and all rooms have comfortable sofas. The centre of Grange-over-Sands is a 5-minute walk away, with its many shops, pubs and restaurants. Golf courses are also close by. The Corner Beech House is just a short drive from Windermere, Kendal and Coniston in The Lake District.

Briscoe Lodge - Briscoe Lodge is 1-minute walk from the centre of Windermere. The Victorian, stone guest house from 1891 has many original features, and free Wi-Fi throughout.
