Walnut Cottage is the most beautifully restored and presented 18th Century quirky cottage situated in central Wells, located in the old high street in a quiet position just five minutes walk from the Quayside.
A quintessential cottage with beams, a pine kitchen and a bathroom to die for, complete with free standing roll top Victorian style bath and amazing original mural. Victorian-style cast iron radiators and a wood burning stove make the cottage cosy in wintertime and there is a pretty sunny courtyard garden to enjoy in the summertime. With many original artworks and period furniture, this cottage is a very special and original place to stay, and will suit couples or families (though the stairs are steep and winding, perhaps not suitable for the very young or the very old). With a well-equipped kitchen, and modern touches including smart television with netflix and flatscreen televisions in each bedroom, Walnut Cottage is certainly a memorable place to stay in a very convenient location.
Additional Information Sorry, no pets. Steep stairs to both first and second floors.
