This fabulously quirky terraced bolt-hole, with original features such as its exposed brickwork and pretty frontage, is an ideal base for friends and families to spend some quality time away together. The owners have done a great job in creating a super-stylish retreat and you even get glimpses of the harbour.
The kitchen is well-equipped and leads into a lovely dining room. Upstairs you'll find a very spacious sitting room with smart television, making this a cosy spot to retreat to on an evening after a busy day out and about. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of which is en-suite and two of the bedrooms have super-king/twin zip-and-link beds which can be set up to suit your needs, which is great if you are a group of friends.
Jicklings Cottage has an enviable location on a no-through lane, with easy access to all the local amenities, be it shops, fish and chips, pubs, restaurants or cafes. And in less than a few steps, you are at Well’s historic quay, and from there it’s only a twenty-minute walk to its stunning sandy beach with its colourful beach huts, lake and beautiful pine forest.
Additional Information: Both upstairs bedrooms can be configured as a Super-king or twin 3' beds. Please confirm your bed configuration at time of booking. Duvets and pillows are a mixture of feather and synthetic. Children are welcome at the property, but please be aware there are quite a lot of steps in the property. If you require a travel cot/ high chair, this should be confirmed at time of booking. Sorry, no dogs. In keeping with the age of this historic property there are low ceilings, alcoves and doorways throughout. There is no garden or courtyard at the property. Free parking is on the roadside at the top of Jicklings Yard, Clubbs Lane or The Buttlands and pay and display parking is available at The Maltings or at Stearman's Yard. You can purchase a weekly pass for Stearman's Yard from the Tourist Information Centre at The Maltings. Access Note: There are several internal steps within the cottage.
