This tucked-away beautifully rustic and rather quirky dog-friendly barn sits in a very quiet location only a few minutes’ walk to all the eateries, café’s and shops that make Thornham so desirable for a short break or longer stay. Set over three floors, this stylish end-of-terrace barn sleeps four very comfortably and is well-located in the pretty village of Thornham with is harbour, beach and coastal and countryside walks. A clever conversion of an old building, the property still retains its original character with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and now boasts two luxuriously-furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. The décor is rustic throughout with the owner making use of old scaffolding boards, earthy colours and bright pops of colour to make the open plan kitchen/dining/living area the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day exploring.
The second floor master bedroom suite is stunning; with a four-poster bed positioned under a vaulted ceiling with four skylights making it perfect for stargazing whilst laying in bed. It even has a TV which rises from the foot of the bed. There is a further double bedroom on the first floor, again with rustic floors and bags of room and both bathrooms feature stylish sinks, showers with the master suite also having a free-standing bath, providing the opportunity for a good wallow at the end of a long day. Outside you’ll find a table and chairs to the front of the property, perfect for morning coffee and reading the newspapers and plenty of communal space to the rear of the cottage which also provides a short-cut to the fabulous Thornham Deli, less than a minutes’ walk away, where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch. Thornham is great for exploring the whole of the coast and with a fantastic array of pubs/restaurants, one of the best fish and chip shops around and a famous farm shop with pick-your-own fruit farm at Drove Orchards, you won't be short of places to eat out.
