A spacious, detached modern house, tucked away at the top of a private drive in a peaceful location, enjoying both parking and a south facing garden, yet a mere five minute walk away from the heart of this charming, quintessential seaside town - one of the most popular holiday destinations with visitors to North Norfolk.
Arisaig, meaning 'the safe place' in Gaelic is well-named. This pleasantly presented house has a welcoming and calming overall feel. A great deal of thought has gone into providing a comfortable and well-equipped haven and base for holidaymakers who, once they find this lovely house, tend to return again and again, which really says it all. Downstairs there is a choice of two relaxing areas - a cosy sitting room with gas 'coal effect' fire to the front of the house and a sunny garden room which overlooks the south facing rear garden. In between the two, a generous-sized and well-equipped breakfast kitchen links through to the rear hallway where there is a handy utility area and shower room with a large walk-in shower - perfect for when you come in from the beach and want to rinse off sandy bodies and toes. On the first floor you will find three restful bedrooms (king-size, twin and large single), two with televisions, along with a family bathroom that has both a bath and separate shower.
Wells-next-the-Sea is a quaint and very picturesque seaside town loved by visitors of all ages. If you want a stunningly beautiful sandy beach that stretches for miles and miles; maybe book one of the photogenic candy coloured beach huts; or just enjoy taking a seat to watch the world go by and the fishing boats come and go on the buzzing quayside; try your hand at crabbing and taste some of the freshest fish and chips and seafood around, it’s all here for you. Take a leisurely meander on Staithe Street browsing the little shops and cafes that run from top to bottom, and maybe pop into the Arts Centre to see the latest pop-up art exhibition, and book a ticket for a film or theatre show while you are there. Walkers and cyclists will love exploring the coastal path and can stretch their legs a little further and visit nearby Holkham Hall with its beautiful deer park and lake. If you have the time and inclination to venture even further afield, step aboard the Coasthopper and let it take you there, taking in the beautiful scenery as you go.
