This pretty, single story stable conversion comprises of a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room and bedroom with en-suite shower room. Multiple skylights fill the cottage with sunlight during the day and when the night draws in, guests can get cosy around the sitting room's multi-fuel burning stove. One of Applewood's best features has to be its beautiful garden with pergola and garden furniture which is the perfect place to relax in on a summer's evening.
Applewood is situated in the village of Harome, which is nestled between the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Harome is only two miles from the market town of Helmsley, which boasts a wide selection of independent shops, bakeries and cafes, as well as a medieval castle and an arts centre. The area is popular with walkers, history enthusiasts and food lovers. Harome itself is the home of the Michelin Star awarded Star Inn as well as the equally renowned Pheasant Hotel, both of which are a short walk from the cottage and serve superb food and drinks. Both restaurants are very popular and require booking well in advance. The Pheasant will provide breakfast for non-residents if required, although booking is advisable.
