Across the way is Lymington and Keyhaven Nature Reserve and Sea Wall, which takes you all the way to the Georgian town of Lymington, is a great haven for bird watchers, walkers and cyclists. From the jetty at Keyhaven you can take a boat trip out to Hurst Castle. The vibrant village of Milford on Sea with shingle beach, variety of eateries, shops and pubs is just a mile away. The New Forest where ponies and cattle roam free is a short drive away offering many opportunities for interesting walks, cycle rides and pony trekking.
