Situated on a quiet private lane, where you are more likely to see horses than cars, walk out of the front gate and down the road to the village centre of Burley with plenty of quirky, trinket shops. The village is famous for witches, with one of the shops named 'A Coven of Witches' named by Sybil Leek, The White Witch. The village also has a number of pubs and cafes.
If you are keen cyclists, bring your bikes or hire them from the village centre. Burley is a great location to start your days cycling with many routes starting nearby. Burley Manor Riding Stables can be found at the end of the lane offering riding for all abilities.
The cottage is right in the heart of the New Forest National Park, with direct forest access just at the end of the lane therefore you are often likely to see ponies, cattle and donkeys wandering past.
