Maple Cottage, a tastefully appointed light and airy first floor apartment overlooking the courtyard at Buckland Court is close to the pretty village of Slapton and the beautiful coastline of Start Bay in South Devon. Nestled in delightful South Hams countryside its location places it close to the world famous nature reserve of Slapton Ley, a 3 mile beach and several excellent real ale pubs. Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are within 15 minutes drive, both with interesting shops, fine restaurants, boat trips, sailing and much more. Totnes, a quaint Elizabethan town is 9 miles away and Dartmoor, with wonderful walking and spectacular scenery is within easy reach. Buckland Court is well situated for a wide range of indoor and outdoor pursuits including golf. A gate from the courtyard opens out to a sweep of grass and orchard (1.5 acres) including a large pond populated by ducks. There is a built in barbecue with picnic benches where guests can relax and young people can play outdoor games.
