Jacobs Pond has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 7 guests plus cot Downstairs is comprised of sitting room with wood-burner dining room conservatory with French doors leading into the garden kitchen double bedroom and bathroom with shower toilet and hand basin Upstairs are three further bedrooms one double one single and one with bunk-beds There is also a family bathroom with shower over the bath toilet and hand basin Sleeps up to 7 guests in four bedrooms plus cot Semi-detached cottage in a peaceful rural location Stunning views towards the Quantock and Brendon Hills and Exmoor Conservatory overlooks the patio and enclosed garden One downstairs double bedroom plus double bunk and single bedrooms upstairs Sitting room with wood-burning fire Two bathrooms one with shower and one with shower over the bath Wifi heating and electricity included Towels and bed linen provided Arrive from 4 pm Depart by 10 am Appliances and equipment Jacobs Pond is fitted with dishwasher washing machine fridge freezer microwave and electric oven with hob Other equipment includes toaster kettle a variety of cookware and kitchen utensils cutlery crockery and glasses A television and DVD player is provided in the living room and wireless broadband is available throughout the property Electricity and heating Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation Jacobs Pond has central heating throughout plus a wood-burner in the sitting room One basket of logs and some kindling will be provided further logs can be purchased locally Linen and towels Bed linen duvets blankets and towels are provided for your convenience but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips Bed linen is not provided for the cot Other provisions A small amount of tea coffee sugar milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt pepper and a few herbs or spices available Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid dishwasher tablets powder and surface cleaner will be present in the property One or two toilet rolls will be provided per toilet Cot and high chair A travel cot and high chair can be provided Please request these items at the time of booking so they will be ready for your arrival Please note that bed linen is not supplied for the cot Outside the property There is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property which is accessed via the conservatory There is also a patio area with table chairs and a barbecue and further seating area Parking Off-road parking for two cars is available directly outside the property on the drive Dogs Sorry no dogs at Jacobs Pond Due to bad experiences this property is now not not accepting pets Smoking Jacobs Pond is strictly non-smoking Local amenities The village of Monksilver has it s own pub called The Notley Arms which also serves food this is 1 mile from Jacobs Pond There is a village shop Post Office and pub in the village of Stogumber which is 2 miles away There is also The Bicknoller Inn which serves good food and is family just 3 miles from the cottage The nearest town is Williton which is approx 2 miles from Jacobs Pond There are two small supermarkets in Williton a petrol station cash machines local restaurants and a couple of take-away outlets a hardware store butchers pharmacy etc Minehead is approximately 11 miles from the property Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations Tesco and Morrison s are both situated on the outskirts of the town most major high street banks with cash machines plus a range of other shops throughout the town Taunton is the county town of Somerset and is approximately 15 miles away Arrival and departure The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests Changeover days Jacobs Pond is available for week-long bookings and short breaks
