This characterful semi-detached cottage, located in a tranquil woodland setting within the Holne Chase Country Estate offers extremely spacious and flexible accommodation for up to 8 guests. The generous reception rooms run the length of the ground floor and a perfect space for large groups or family gatherings. Each bedroom enjoys its own ensuite bathroom and two of the bedrooms even afford the privacy of their own staircases. To the front of the cottage there is a lovely terrace, perfect for alfresco dining. A further terrace with seating can be accessed directly from the kitchen and there is also the benefit of a pretty walled garden (not fully enclosed) opposite the cottage. Guests very welcome to explore the estate and explore the beautiful woods and the private and highly regarded stretch of the River Dart which passes through the grounds. A particular bonus for guests is that fly fishing for salmon and sea trout can be arranged with the owners. Dartmoor National Park covers almost 370 square miles comprising granite tors, acres of open grassland and plenty of wooded valley. With activities such as walking, horse-riding, caving, cycling, climbing and abseiling on offer there are plenty of outdoor pursuits to sample. For those not feeling quite so energetic Dartmoor is still a fantastic place to simply get some fresh air, dip your toes in a stream or sit back and enjoy a Devon cream tea.
