Demelza 3 is an upper apartment in a private area of Helford Passage. It has been recently refurbished to a high and stylish standard and offers a great location to watch the activies on the river. The apartment has two bedrooms, sleeping four in total, and a brand new kitchen. The family bathroom has both a bath and walk-in shower cubicle. The large lounge, with dining area, has a full-width wall of glass providing beautiful, uninterrupted views of the Helford River. Large sliding doors open onto the south-facing private terrace, which has plenty of space to relax. Both the beach and the outdoor swimming pool are accessed through separate gates in the garden. Demelza 3 is on the same level as the car park, and has just two internal steps between the bedrooms and the rest of the accommodation, so may be suitable for those with reduced mobility. Helford Passage nestles on the banks of the beautiful river Helford, with a sandy beach and direct access to the South West Coastal Path. Theres plenty to do on site including the hire of kayaks or paddle boards, or if you prefer to be in the water, try the heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May 1st until the end of September). The Ferryboat Inn specialises in seafood dishes and holds regular music and quiz nights. The local ferry can take you across to pretty Helford village where you can meander along the shore to explore Daphne Du Mauriers Frenchmans Creek. Alternatively relax and enjoy good food at the welcoming Shipwrights Arms in Helford or venture further afield to the Historic Falmouth, rugged Lands End or the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. All the traditional attractions of a Cornish Holiday such as nearby fishing trips, golf, cycling, horse-riding, seaside fish and chips, coastal walks, art galleries and stunning beaches make this a perfect base for couples or families all year round.
