Nestled away in this beautiful corner of the New Forest, in the quiet village of Frogham is Crossroads Cottage. This cosy, country cottage is presented beautifully with in keeping furniture and lovely inglenook fireplace. The cottage has ample living space for up to five guests with large kitchen/diner, separate lounge and sunny conservatory. The open tread staircase from the lounge leads up to three characterful bedrooms. A pretty single bedroom, second single room with a pull-out bed underneath (please note space is restricted when the second bed is used) and finally a lovely master bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom located on the first floor for guests convenience. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and Aga heated during the colder months of the year. Along with under floor heating in the conservatory, wood burning stove in the lounge, together with oil central heating, this is certainly a cottage that lends itself as cosy all year round. One of the main features of staying at Crossroads Cottage is the luxury of your very own swim spa! With under floor heating throughout and heated to 32 degrees the swim spa can be used all year. The swim spa is professionally maintained and consists of counter flow jets that are adjustable to suit your swimming style. There is a hydrotherapy seating area with fully adjustable massage function, for up to six people. A real treat for guests who love a swim every day. The sunny garden is mainly laid to lawn including a large patio area with wooden garden furniture and two sun loungers provided, perfect for laying in the sun in the warmer weather. Please note guests should always supervise their children whilst in the garden and in the swim spa. And if that wasn;t enough, straight from the front gate and along the road for a two minute stroll you will find miles of open forest just waiting to explore. Close by, on the crossroads, is the popular Foresters Arms for a hearty pub lunch or delicious evening meal. Ponies, donkeys and other forest livestock can often be seen wandering past the gate in this enchanting section of the forest. Just a short drive away is the delightful town of Fordingbridge and Ringwood with many convenience stores and eateries, a little further afield is the beautiful city of Salisbury and the coast is only around 30 minutes away. Crossroads Cottage is ideal for a wonderful stay in the heart of the New Forest and we have no hesitation in recommending this cottage for a family holiday, couples or a small group of friends.
