Situated in a most enviable position right on the seafront in Lyme Regis – this beautiful Victorian house offers visitors a great spot in which to enjoy a true &lsquoseaside; holiday. The elevated veranda allows visitors to sit and watch the world go by with uninterrupted views of the beach, the sea, the Cobb and views reaching as far as Portland Bill. These stunning views are also repeated from the lounge and two bedrooms as well as the snug situated just inside the front entrance. A wooden gate leads you off the Marine Parade, up a few steps and onto the veranda of the property. As you walk through the front door, immediately on your left is the snug – a cushioned seating area in which to sit and relax, read a book, enjoy a glass of wine or simply just watch the world go by through the attractively framed picture window. Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent UNESCO Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family.
