The Globe Inn also serves good food and drink. The beach at Torcross is a fifteen minute drive. Neighbouring villages such as Chillington, Stokenham have excellent eateries and farm shops. The sandy shores of East Portlemouth are around fifteen minutes away, with a foot ferry to the popular sailing town of Salcombe. Kingsbridge, has all the amenities you;ll need, including a cinema just five miles away, with historic Dartmouth a beautiful town to explore, just 13 miles away. With countryside walks, beaches and coastlines to explore on the South West Coast Path easily accessed from Torcross, and plenty of local attractions for all ages, a week is never long enough!
