1 Freelands Cottage is a pretty, Grade II Listed, thatched cottage in the popular village of Manaton, deep in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park. Absolutely charming and comfortably furnished, this is the perfect spot for walking and exploring the stunning moorland of Dartmoor. Many rocky Tors interrupt the sweeping open moorland, such as nearby Hound Tor, Haytor and Bowermans Nose. Close by is Widdecombe-in-the-moor, lovely for a day visit, it hosts an annual fair and is home to Uncle Tom Cobley and All! The famous Becky Falls, that tumble 70 feet beneath a canopy of oaks, is within a mile of the cottage.
