Charlies Cafe Bar - Naughty Nell's is a beautifully restored 16th century coaching inn at the heart of the historic market town of Shifnal, which was described by Charles Dickens in The Old Curiosity Shop. Grade II listed, the inn is surrounded by attractive half-timbered and Georgian houses and close to the Norman church which was one of the few buildings to escape a great fire in 1591 which destroyed most of the town. It was reputedly the home of Nell Gwynn and her legendary bed chamber.

The Wheatsheaf Inn - Situated on Broadway in the charming little market town of Shifnal in Shropshire, this Grade II listed inn is an authentic traditional pub with cosy, comfortable accommodation. Originally built in the 17th century, the Wheatsheaf Inn boasts charming original features and sensitively refurbished accommodation. There are just 2 rooms, both of which have been carefully refurbished in a traditional style. In some parts of the accommodation, 17th century oak floors have been revealed and delicately restored. The original timbers and beams are still in place and remain a traditional feature of the inn. The pub area also still features huge beams from the building's original timber frame, as well as low ceilings, real open fireplaces and traditional furniture. The inn is situated on the main road running through the village from north to south.The M54 motorway is within easy reach and the town's railway station is within easy walking distance.
